Onsite or Remote Fully On-Site Work Schedule Four 10hr day shifts Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm Posted Date 05/27/2026 Salary Range : $65.76 - 97.76 Hourly Employment Type Duration Indefinite Job # 30823 Primary Duties and Responsibilities The clinical nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients using the nursing process in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice. The clinical nurse performs in the professional role as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA); engaging in activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation, resources utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy as appropriate to clinical nursing practice. Floating to other psychiatric units may be required dependent upon staffing need. Job Qualifications We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self‑motivated nursing professional with: Current valid California RN license - required BSN or MSN, - required Experience working in an acute psychiatric setting in area of specialization - required One year clinical experience in an acute psychiatric setting in area of specialization; required BLS & ACLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association - required Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff As a condition of employment the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
