Summary:

We are currently hiring for the position of Mixing Technician. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care and related support, including routine medication preparation and inventory management while supporting and demonstrating TwelveStone’s values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sets up, cleans, and disinfects exam rooms and medical equipment and maintains stock of medications and medical supplies. Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.
• Receives medical supplies and inventory. Manages medication and medical supply inventory systems. Maintains an accurate and organized record of all transactions occurring in mixing room.
• Maintains accuracy in processing orders.
• Safely and aseptically prepares biologic and other medications for Infusion Center patients.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician required.

Experience: Two years of experience in hospital IV room or home infusion required. Must have working knowledge of computer systems, insurance and 3rd party payors, medications and medical terminology.
