Shipping & Receiving clerk (JN -082026-429604) Pleasanton, California Salary: USD22 - USD26 per hour Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a fast-paced warehouse and logistics team in Pleasanton. This role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing shipping documentation, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in shipping and receiving, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Role is Temp-Hire and pay range is $22-$26/hour. Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations by receiving incoming materials, pulling orders, preparing shipments, creating shipping documentation, coordinating outbound freight, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role works closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments. Pull and stage customer orders for shipment. Create shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, labels, and shipping records. Coordinate outbound freight and communicate with carriers regarding shipment schedules. Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Ensure inventory is properly identified, stored, and accessible. Confirm delivery completion within company systems. Support inventory accuracy through transaction processing and recordkeeping. Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and quality standards. Assist with additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience. Experience with shipping documentation and inventory transactions. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience (preferred but not required). Experience with WMS, ERP, or MRP systems. Experience in a manufacturing or electronics manufacturing environment.
