What You'll Do As our HR Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for Human Resources, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily HR operations, employee transactions, payroll support, compliance activities, and a variety of administrative processes that keep the department running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for the HR phone line, email inbox, and employee inquiries. Coordinate HR transactions, onboarding, personnel records, and department communications. Assist with payroll administration, compliance tracking, audits, and credential management. Support employee lifecycle activities, annual HR processes, and departmental projects. Maintain accurate records while delivering timely, confidential, and customer-focused service. What We're Looking For We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills, can successfully manage multiple priorities, maintains strict confidentiality, and is committed to delivering exceptional support to employees and leaders. Experience in Human Resources, payroll, or office administration is preferred. Qualifications Education Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred Certifications Human Resources certification or coursework preferred. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources, payroll, or office administration. Experience providing exceptional customer service in a professional office environment. Experience maintaining confidential information and coordinating multiple administrative processes. Financial institution experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of general office practices, administrative procedures, and customer service principles. Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and employment practices. Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, frequent interruptions, and changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively multitask while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service. Ability to prioritize work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, determine appropriate resources, and ensure timely resolution. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and administrative processes simultaneously. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and other business software. Physical Considerations Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to written and verbal instructions and information. May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on job duties. May involve repetitive motions, including keyboarding and handling office equipment. May require stooping, bending, squatting, or reaching occasionally. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. Ability to navigate office environments, including walking between workstations, meeting rooms, and member service areas.
