Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) , you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement effective treatment plans for our residents, promoting independence, function, and overall well-being. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of occupational therapy services to residents, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation

• Conduct daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs and goals

• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop effective care plans

• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on resident care and treatment plans

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification active in the state of Missouri

• Previous experience as a COTA or related field preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
