Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position: Special Education Teacher (LBS1)
Schedule: Full-Time | School Year

Role Highlights

Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
Class Size: Maximum of 10 students per classroom
Classroom Support: 3–4 paraprofessionals assigned to each classroom
Student Eligibilities Include:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Intellectual Disabilities
Developmental Delays

Required Credentials

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement required
Experience with elementary special education or similar populations preferred
