Job Overview Department: 36926 Atrium Health Cabarrus – Venous Access Team. Status: Part time. Benefits Eligible: No. Hours per week: 12 (PRN 1 12‑hour shift on weekdays). Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication to create the safest patient environment. Conduct ultrasound‑guided PIV placements, midline and PICC line placements. Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy. Insert short‑bowel feeding tubes (SBFTs) and perform therapeutic phlebotomy. Round on all central lines/midlines daily and document line necessity. Focus on preventing central line bloodstream infections. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. Chemo/Bio course completion within 3–4 months of hire. VABC training highly encouraged after 2 years on the team. Experience and success with PIV placements. Benefits Base compensation within the listed pay range.
