Director, HR Business Partner

Responsibilities Partner with Hotels.com, Integrated Marketing & Creative, and Loyalty teams Collaborate with global People team partners and business leaders on strategic talent initiatives Identify high-potential talent, drive succession planning, and build future-focused organizational capabilities Guide organizational design and change management strategies Implement processes, policies, and guidelines for organizational reviews and alignment Partner with executives to define talent and business strategy Translate business plans into HR program objectives Analyze and design organizational structures and governance models Define and implement organizational principles and health objectives Design surveys and tools to measure organizational effectiveness Develop programs for employee engagement, management capabilities, and leadership development Propose tailored HR solutions based on business operations and challenges Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders Apply systems thinking to improve policies, processes, and structures Evaluate the financial and operational impact of proposed solutions Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders to implement HR programs Apply data analysis and business acumen to leadership, structure, and talent decisions Define human resource structures, workforce planning needs, leadership gaps, and future skillsets Requirements 10+ years’ relevant experience Experience as a strategic people business partner Experience designing an end-to-end talent agenda Experience in organizational development Experience delivering global transformation programs Analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills Ability to turn high-level business requirements and opportunities into specific initiatives Advanced executive coaching techniques Strong business context and leadership growth orientation Strong relationship-building and leadership skills Must work from Seattle or Austin Minimum three in-office days per week Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strategic talent management, organizational development, and change management, with a strong focus on data analysis and business acumen to drive HR initiatives and enhance organizational effectiveness.
