Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, working collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within the defined scope of your practice
• Involvement in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days)
