Emergency Department Registered Nurse (FSED Float)

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to float between the Main ED and Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED). The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic emergency department setting
• Collaborate with team members, including paramedics and EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and central line placements
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and either PALS, TNCC, or ENPC
• Ability to work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
• Previous experience in emergency nursing preferred
