Swiss Programmer Lead

Swiss Lead Programmer
Responsible for programming and leading setup activities on multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes to produce high-precision components. Applies advanced knowledge of machining theory, tooling, materials, and blueprint interpretation to drive quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and lead setups on multi-axis Swiss turning centers
- Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
- Optimize tooling and cutting paths for performance and quality
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Oversee quality checks to ensure specifications are met
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Train and mentor operators and machinists
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Swiss CNC programming experience
- Strong blueprint reading and advanced math skills
- Deep knowledge of metals and machining processes
- Proven troubleshooting and leadership ability
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Overtime/weekend availability as needed
