Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Type of Hire: Full-Time / Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Deploy highly available, scalable and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP (Azure/AWS is a plus) using industry best practices.
• Define and implement infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques to migrate workloads into GCP.
• Design and develop automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration process.
• Work closely with the Development and Operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the automated deployment of infrastructure.

Key Technology Requirements:

• Cloud infrastructure experience on GCP (+Azure/AWS a plus) - IAM – users/groups/service accounts and their differences, Networking and VPCs, concepts of public vs. private IPs Security, ACLs, firewalls Automation; GKE Cluser/VM setup/teardown, scripting, platform tools (GCP Deployment Manager / Azure Resource Manager / AWS CloudFormation), proficiency in 3rd party tool like Hashicorp's Terraform, Consul, and Vault, Ansible, etc., Logging and monitoring of Cloud deployments, and Containers on Kubernettes experience

Additional Qualifications:

• Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and Networking challenges.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• GOOGLE CLOUD CERTIFIED Professional Cloud Architect.
• 6+ months of relevant experience
• BA/BS or advanced degree in computer sciences or equivalent work experience
• Hands-on experience with large-scale implementations of Google Cloud Platform, designed for security and compliance.
• Hands-on experience deploying data analytics solutions in GCP using BigQuery/ Cloud Dataflow/ Cloud SQL/ Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of Java/ Python programming languages; knowledge of REST API frameworks.
• Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, analysis, problem-solving and short term and long-term planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities.
• Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
• This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
