Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our progressive care unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and have significant experience in critical care settings.Location: Olathe, KSScheduled Details:Shift: 12-hour NightsShift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMSchedule: 3 shifts per weekExperience Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care/ICU or Emergency DepartmentProficient in the management of BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and conducting lab drawsComfortable operating without a vascular access team and managing own consultsExperience in conducting own codesOpen-heart experience on Day 2 or Day 3 with pacer wiresPatient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1License/Certification Requirements:Current RN License in Kansas or Compact RN LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) CertificationNational Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) CertificationFloating Requirements:Employees may be required to float to ICU and all inpatient units, including Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED, provided they have prior experience in those areas.Weekend Requirements:Every other weekend will be required.Holiday Requirement:Travelers are expected to work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday | Christmas Eve or Day | New Year's Eve or Day. Flexibility to work two major holidays is preferred.Orientation:Days 1-2: Initial orientation sessionDay 3: Facility-specific orientation and Director of Nursing trainingDay 4: Continued Director of Nursing trainingDay 5: Virtual Epic trainingAdditional Notes:This is a nicotine-free facility.Current EMR system is EPIC.Employees will receive bi-weekly pay.Clients are allowed to cancel one shift per two-week pay period at no cost, with a minimum 2-hour notice provided.
