Internship Program The Kiva Internship Program is a 6‑month, part‑time (24–32 hours per week) remote volunteer position based in the United States. Participants gain hands‑on experience with email marketing analytics, creative research, and data‑driven insights while receiving professional development workshops and networking opportunities. Department Overview The Marketing team is a collaborative, data‑driven unit that drives engagement primarily through email, the largest marketing channel at Kiva. The team works cross‑functionally with many departments, providing interns with exposure to communications, creative, strategic partnerships, and analytics. Your Role The Marketing Creative Insights Intern will analyze and document creative trends across Kiva’s email campaigns. The role bridges creativity and strategy by organizing the visual archive, studying engagement data, and translating findings into creative recommendations. Key Responsibilities Audit and organize past Kiva email designs in Figma. Analyze email performance using Looker, Google Sheets, and Iterable. Tag and document creative elements (tone, imagery, CTAs, structure) across campaigns. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to compare engagement data against creative elements. Participate in creative brainstorms. Explore story archives to find inspiring quotes and story snippets for future campaigns. Research competitor email marketing campaigns. Create an “Insights Report” identifying trends and translating them into creative recommendations for future campaigns. Lead campaign retrospectives, summarizing creative performance, key learnings, and actionable recommendations for future tests. Preferred Qualifications At least 21 years of age or older by January 13, 2026. Able to commit to the full 6‑month term. Intermediate skills in Looker, Google Sheets, Figma, and Iterable. Strong critical thinking, detail orientation, and ownership of work. Problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly proactive and able to work independently. Highly organized with experience in a start‑up environment. Perks Professional development and skills workshops.
