General Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team in Eureka, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for events or projects as needed. Document maintenance activities and report any major issues to management. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required. WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk or sit. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. WORK SCHEDULE: Normal workdays are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, including one hour allocated for lunch.
