Details Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts per week PCU setting with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts Epic EMR used for charting; prior Epic experience preferred Floating to lower acuity units may be required 13-week contract Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience Current certifications: BLS and IV certification required Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Responsibilities include IV placement and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, patient education, and care team collaboration Local candidates are accepted Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for at least 6 months Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently Travel experience is a plus; experienced travelers encouraged to apply American Traveler Job ID P-715573.
