Eastcut Sandwich Bar is a modern sandwich shop that gathers the greatest hits of East Coast sandwich culture and offers them together on one menu. Job Responsibilities

Line Cook Team Members are key to the daily operations at Eastcut. You will participate in a variety of activities: food receiving, prepping, cooking, plating, washing, and cleaning. You will work together with the whole team to provide high-quality and consistent guest experiences. The menu at Eastcut features various rotating specials, so you will have the chance to explore culinary creativity. Below are some of the things we will expect of you:

• Master our preparation, cooking, and build standards for all menu items
• Maintain highest quality standards in food production
• Maintain highest standards of food safety
• Aid in inventory management, unloading, and stocking

• Participate in on-going training and cross-train in other positions
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant

Job Requirements

Prior Experience with grills/flattops, fryers, & other kitchen equipment

Ability to learn in all aspects of operation

Ability to challenge yourself, ask questions, work hard, and grow

Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; strive for excellence in all things

Ability to be regularly present & punctual for scheduled shifts

Ability to regularly lift 50lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to communicate effectively and regularly

Ability to occasionally work in hot or cold environments for extended periods of time

Must be 18 years or older (NC ABC laws for serving beer and wine)
