Job Title

RN – Step Down / IMC / PCU

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3 × 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care / PCU setting
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac and progressive care needs
• Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience
• Strong cardiac PCU / Step Down experience required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity intermediate or progressive care unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
