Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Security in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:45 PM - 11:15 PMTue02:45 PM - 11:15 PMSat02:45 PM - 11:15 PMSun02:45 PM - 11:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and addressing access concerns, questions, and routine requests in a professional manner. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation related to daily operations and incident response. Support emergency response activities, including following post instructions, assisting with evacuations, and reporting maintenance, access control, and other security-related issues observed during the shift. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
