As a Security Officer Site Access in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment. In this active role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and notable conditions, and support Allied Universal and site management with security-related information and follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
