Rolling Meadows of Strum (Memory Care and Assisted Living), in Strum WI t is seeking additions to our organization. We are currently interviewing for Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant - The Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant reports directly to and supervised by Administration and is responsible for performing day to day housekeeping & laundry functions. Job Duties:Clean, wash, vacuum, mop, extract, polish, sanitize, deodorize and disinfect all areas and items in the community including furnishings, fixtures, trash bins, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, furniture etc. using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and procedures (common areas and resident rooms)Ensure areas are maintained/clean, safe, clearly marked with caution or safety signs, as requiredEnsure that resident access areas are free of all hazardous objects/chemicalsEnsure that all tools and supplies are properly stored at all timesEnsure that established precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing housekeeping dutiesPromptly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to AdministrationAttend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetingsEnsure that work and cleaning schedules are followedReport all incidents and accidents to AdministrationFloor & Furniture extraction per schedule/or when neededKeep outside areas clean; parking lot, entrances, vestibule & patioKeep resident/common area bathroom showers, toilets, sinks, and floors clean and sanitaryKeep all windows ledge, blinds dust/cobweb free and cleanWeekly cleaning out of activity refrigerator/microwave and cupboards, countersMake beds if staff beds were stripped due to wet/soiled beds Shower days beds are to be stripped and all laundry doneLaundry of resident clothing, linens & towels done daily, including folding/putting awayDaily check of lamps & lighting to replace bulbsFill towel dispensers and replace batteriesFill soap & hand sanitizer stations, replace batteriesKeep storage areas and laundry rooms organized and cleanMaintain Housekeeping inventories Must be available to work every other weekendReport any missing, broken, inoperable equipment Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
