FRONT END ASSOCIATE

Position: Front End Associate (Part-Time / Full-Time)
Pay: Hourly | Based on experience
Reports To: Store Manager

Position Summary
The Front End Associate is the first face customers see when they enter KC Discounts. This role is responsible for welcoming shoppers, maintaining a smooth and efficient front-of-store experience, and supporting basic security and loss prevention efforts at the entrance.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering and exiting the store with a friendly, professional attitude
• Thank customers as they leave and wish them a good day
• Monitor the entrance area for suspicious activity and alert management or loss prevention as needed
• Check and verify receipts for large or high-value purchases when directed
• Assist customers with questions about store layout, departments, or general information
• Maintain a clean and organized entrance and front-end area
• Monitor shopping cart availability and return carts to the front as needed
• Support cashiers during busy periods as directed by management
• Communicate effectively with customers in English and/or Spanish (bilingual preferred)
• Follow all store policies and procedures

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Prior retail or customer service experience a plus, but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must be 18 years or older

Schedule
Flexible scheduling available including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
