Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN (L&D RN) Setting: Women’s Services / LDRP / Maternal-Newborn Nursing Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3 shifts per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Location: Dickson, Tennessee Start Date: 9/7/2026 Openings: Multiple positions available Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience Experience laboring and recovering mothers, as well as receiving and transitioning newborns Ability to perform newborn assessment and support couplet care Experience with fetal monitoring preferred Experience with inductions, including Pitocin and Cervidil, preferred Experience handling OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage preferred Current BLS certification NRP certification Fetal monitoring training Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed Comfort floating within the facility when needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients Monitor patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care Support C-sections, circumcisions, and assisted deliveries as appropriate Perform intra-uterine monitoring and assist with fetal surveillance Respond to and help manage obstetric emergencies Care for newborns during transition and monitor them until stable Document accurately in Meditech and CPN Collaborate closely with an experienced, team-oriented nursing staff Participate in daily rounding and safety-focused patient care Contribute to a positive, supportive unit culture Apply now to explore this Labor and Delivery RN travel nursing opportunity in Dickson, Tennessee.
