Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care experience required License: Active Iowa or compact/Multistate nursing license required Certifications: BLS and NRP required Must-Have: - 18 months of NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care experience - Active BLS certification - Active NRP certification - Experience utilizing vasopressors and sedation glucose Description: We are seeking qualified candidates for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing position. This role requires expertise in managing premature infants and those with respiratory distress, failure, and hypoglycemia. Candidates should have experience working with vasopressors and glucose administration. The position involves a 12-hour day shift, with a schedule of three shifts per week. Successful candidates must be flexible to work 1-2 winter holidays and may be required to float to general pediatrics. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have at least 24 months of NICU experience. References from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months are preferred.
