Warehouse Associate

Job Title

With our experienced staff and fleet of vehicles, we are able to meet telephone and power construction needs from concept through to reality.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Read work orders to determine what equipment needs to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials or equipment from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Prepare goods for shipment.
• Receive goods and process data into computerized inventory control systems.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures.
• Help maintain an adequate stock.
• Conduct inventory count.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift while observing safety procedures.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
• Undergo pre-employment screenings, including drug test and background check.

Qualifications/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Organize and prioritize tasks.
• Possess Forklift Certification or have ability to obtain upon hire.
• Hazardous materials training and certification.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 -70 pounds.
• Able to work flexible hours (within 2-3 hours of starting and quitting times).
