Software Engineer

PayRange Inc. seeks software engineer in San Jose, CA.

Job duties:

• Develop and maintain iOS and Android applications that interact extensively with Bluetooth-based devices, ensuring secure and reliable connections.
• Design and maintain mobile SDKs, handling the entire lifecycle from development to deployment and updates.
• Build secure applications and integrate REST APIs to support robust and seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly features that enhance overall application performance and user experience.
• Follow best architecture patterns to build robust software applications, implement secure protocols, and maintain data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards and foster team knowledge sharing.
• Document technical processes and solutions to ensure maintainability and facilitate smooth onboarding of new team members.

Minimum requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special skill requirements:

1. Bluetooth and BLE firmware and secure protocol communication development.
2. Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy client SDKs (Android and iOS) development.
3. Cross platform mobile application development (Android, iOS React Native).
4. AWS cloud services (AWS Lambdas, EC2, ECS, Cognito, DynamoDB, RDS, Bedrock, etc).
5. Agentic AI workflows development with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
6. SQL and NOSQL database systems, mainly with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
7. Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Distributions, Messaging).
8. Implementation of hexagonal architecture patterns.
9. Client development with Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C, Angular, React Native.
10. Server side development with JavaScript, TypeScript.
11. Python.
12. Flutter/Dart.

Salary: $226,138.00-246,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
