About the Role:
SENOJ INC is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team in Long Island City, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to bring your craft and passion for sewing to a dynamic work environment where quality and creativity are valued. Responsibilities:
* Sew, alter, and construct garments and textile products with precision and care
* Perform fittings and make necessary alterations to ensure proper fit and finish
* Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment
* Inspect finished products for quality control and adherence to specifications
* Follow patterns, sketches, and technical instructions to complete garment construction
* Maintain and organize sewing tools, materials, and workspace
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or garment construction professional
* Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and hand-stitching techniques
* Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction methods
* Ability to read and interpret patterns, sketches, and sewing instructions
* Keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
* Strong team-oriented attitude
