Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:The Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant (MLOA) will play a vital part in communicating directly with the loan originator, members, referral partners, real estate agents, title companies, processors and underwriters to nurture relationships and provide superior member service. The MLOA will work to develop timely and efficient workflows in an effort to maximize and prioritize the origination support activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide additional support to one or more Mortgage Loan OriginatorsServe as an additional contact and liaison between members, processors, closers, the assigned loan originator and any third party involved in the transactionReview all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation and report any discrepancies to the loan originator or processorFollow up and respond to member or third party inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior member serviceFacilitates internal communication between processing, underwriting and closing to ensure closing dates are metCoordinate and proactively communicate with outstanding pipeline of prequalification requests, as well as with active loan pipelineAssist members with accessing online documents and password resetsAssist Mortgage Loan Originator with any re-disclosure requestsResponsible for documenting the conversation log with any communication to or from any party involved in the transactionMaintain compliance standards from application to fundingComplete NMLS registrationPerform other administrative functions as requested by managementMaintain knowledge of branch operations by completing Deposit Regulation and Product and Service Certification courses.Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent required1-3 years of experience in a lending capacity preferredIdeal candidate will have an understanding of lending guidelines, state and federal regulations, as well as a general knowledge of mortgage lending productsHighly motivated and goal-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, whether in person, by phone, or emailComputer proficiency required including MS Office; proprietary mortgage software preferredTeam player with a positive, can do attitude and strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multitask while having a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; well organizedIf you are considered for an offer of employment at TVFCU, you must successfully complete a pre-employment screen that includes:Verification of education, employment and other pertinent data included on your employment application, and eligibility to work in the United StatesCriminal background check and drug screeningPre-employment credit check requiredPre-employment screening helps TVFCU provide a safe environment for our members and employees, minimize risk, and ensure federal compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Uni
