About the Role Baxter’s Advanced Surgery business is one of the company’s most strategically important and fastest growing divisions, focused on improving outcomes in complex surgical procedures through trusted hemostats, sealants, and adhesion prevention solutions. This division is a priority area for Baxter’s executive leadership, with continued investment in innovation, portfolio expansion, and strategic growth. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Market Intelligence & Customer Insights to play a central role in shaping how Advanced Surgery understands its markets, competitors, and future opportunities. This role owns market intelligence and competitive insights for the division and combines rigorous analytics with strategic thinking to inform long‑range planning, portfolio decisions, and business development priorities. This is a high‑visibility role that sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and storytelling. The Senior Manager will work closely with global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams, and their insights will regularly inform senior leadership discussions. You will join a collaborative, low‑ego team that values curiosity, partnership, and impact—and you will inherit a strong analytical foundation while helping evolve the function for the future. What You’ll Do Lead global market intelligence and competitive insights across hemostats, sealants, adhesion prevention, and adjacent surgical categories Own annual global market sizing and forecasting, partnering with regional teams and aligning assumptions with Finance Deliver biannual market share and competitive landscape analyses to inform portfolio and long‑range planning Manage quarterly U.S. market size and growth reporting by integrating SG2, IQVIA, DRG, Premier, and internal performance data Conduct hands‑on Premier analytics to understand procedural trends, product utilization, and specialty‑level dynamics Translate complex data into clear, executive‑ready insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership Support M&A, licensing, and partnership evaluations through market sizing, competitive assessments, and scenario modeling Build compelling narratives and present findings to cross‑functional stakeholders across Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial What You’ll Bring Experience analyzing healthcare or medical device datasets such as Premier, SG2, DRG, IQVIA, or similar claims and utilization sources Strong capability in Excel‑based modeling, forecasting, and market sizing Working experience with SAS, R, or SPSS; SQL or Python Familiarity with medical coding, procedure‑based analytics, and claims or charge‑level data Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear, strategic insights for executive audiences Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels Proactive, intellectually curious mindset and comfort working independently on highly visible, recurring deliverables Collaborative, low‑ego approach and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment Benefits Flexible Workplace Policy: Baxter offers a flexible workplace policy that includes a required minimum number of days a week onsite, aligning with local laws and legal requirements. Baxter may adjust or discontinue the policy based on business needs. Compensation: The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $152,000 to $209,000. Compensation may vary based on market data, skill set, experience, and other factors. This position is eligible for discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives.
