Overview Position: Patient Service Specialist - Float Will be required to Float to Different Locations in the area Centralized Scheduling will be required with this position Location: Home Clinic: 200 NE 54th S, Suite 101,. Kansas City, MO 64118 Type of Employment: Full-time Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday (7am-6pm flex hours) Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00/hour When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy centers, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, adaptable to change, and able to adjust effectively within a dynamic workflow. They demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintain consistent follow-up, and possess excellent professional verbal and written communication abilities. Responsibilities Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications Qualifications Minimum: High School Diploma or GED 1 Year of Scheduling Experience 1 Year of Front Desk Experience Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience Healthcare experience Additional Data Go Anywhere with Us! 1900 centers in 39 states offering internal movement Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans #J-18808-Ljbffr
