Position Overview:

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled, compassionate Physiatrist to fill an opening at a reputable multi-specialty practice in Tavares, FL, Winter Garden, FL, Ocoee, FL, & Orange City, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Work Schedule:

This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position.

5 days (1 weekend per month, no compensation).

8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.

Licensure: Active and unrestricted Florida Medical State License.

Certification: Board Certified.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic procedures. Experience with EMR systems.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or other conditions causing pain and functional impairment.

Develop and oversee comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans, which may include physical therapy, medication management, and therapeutic injections.

Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed to aid in diagnosis.

Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care and maximize functional outcomes.

Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
