Install Technician-Stanley Access Technologies - $3,000 Certification Bonus

Position Install Technician – Stanley Access Technologies, Boston, MA Overview Allegion helps keep people safe and secure in the places they live, work, and visit. We specialize in security around the doorway and beyond. Key Responsibilities Perform installation or service work as designated. Record productive time versus travel time. Perform preventive maintenance as per service program. Maintain accurate work records and parts used. Keep updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standard. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and property. Present a neat appearance and workmanship in accordance with company policies. Keep parts inventory for service vehicle and maintain inventory log. Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety checks. Maintain good customer relations and customer service. Assist and instruct others in install/service methods. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid state driver’s license without restrictions. Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Can sit while driving up to 2 hours, stand on concrete up to 8 hours, and perform stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting occasionally. Vision not limited to near, far, or color. Ability to work in various climates. Flexible work schedule, able to work nights and/or weekends as necessary. Preferred Skills & Knowledge Associate’s degree in an electrical, mechanical, or industrial field. Prior experience in the construction or electrical field. Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints. AAADM Certification. Compensation The expected base hourly range is between $32.70 and $40.68 per hour. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
