Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive Parts Tracker / Expeditor to support production operations in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This position tracks work orders, parts, materials, and components throughout the production process to help ensure manufacturing schedules and customer requirements are met.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can coordinate across Production, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Customer Service while identifying shortages, resolving delays, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Track work orders, parts, materials, and components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with Production Management to support daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Monitor part status and follow up with internal departments to confirm expected completion and delivery dates.
• Identify parts shortages, bottlenecks, late orders, and potential schedule risks.
• Escalate shortages and production delays to Production Management and Customer Service.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Quality, Production, and Shipping teams to expedite priority or late parts.
• Communicate status updates and potential delays to appropriate stakeholders.
• Update ERP/MRP systems and maintain accurate part, material, and work order information.
• Maintain organized documentation and records to support traceability and AS9100 audit requirements.
• Assist with resolving material flow and scheduling issues that could impact production.
• Support continuous improvement of material tracking and expediting processes.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in logistics, customer service, production, manufacturing, material coordination, or a related environment.
• Experience coordinating work or materials across multiple departments.
• Experience using computerized systems to track orders, inventory, materials, or production activity.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting production scheduling, material planning, or parts expediting.
• Experience working in an AS9100-regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

• ERP/MRP Systems – Ability to use ERP or MRP software to track work orders, parts, materials, inventory, and production status.
• Production & Material Tracking – Ability to monitor parts through the manufacturing process, identify shortages or delays, and support on-time production.
• Cross-Functional Communication & Coordination – Ability to communicate effectively with Production, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
