Yes Classification of the position: Other Description : Roc Nation Student Coordinators Campus: Brooklyn Department Name and ID#: LIU Roc Nation Department's Dean and/or Director: Matthew Caballero, Assistant Dean Location: Building and Floor: Pratt Room 614 Supervisor: Name: Matthew Caballero, Assistant Dean Title: Dean Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities): The LIU Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment is in search of Student Coordinators to work with School leadership.
Duties and Principal Responsibilities: Assist in capturing, editing, and promoting content; Assist in planning and managing events; Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and recruitment research;
Attend open houses and lead student tours and speaking engagements; Greet incoming guests;
Answer office phone and directing calls as needed; Assist with making copies, scanning, and filing documents for all Department Staff and Faculty;
Organizing the department (books, documents, restocking shelves and equipment with new supplies, etc.); and other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.
Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Rate of Pay : minimum hourly rate Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/4/2024 End Date: 5/9/2025 Evaluation procedures and schedules: Student Workers will have monthly meetings with supervisor to discuss updated procedures, schedules and performance feedback.
