Location: Kennewick, WA 99336

The primary day-to-day responsibilities for this person will include following project documentation and instructions, coordinating and working with Level 2 and Level 3 support, setting up photo printers and servers. The project involves unpacking, installing, and configuring photo printers. Required to follow detailed instructions step-by-step and report into the bridge/support lines as required or needed. There will be a two-week training period due to the sheer volume of the documentation and requirements. Training will consist of computer-based training and videos as well as a preparatory course prior to going onsite.

Responsibilities: IT field technician - driving to client sites and providing general IT support to customers (retailers, banks, etc.), for break-fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients. The level of support will vary by customer, but expect printer, laptop, server, network, and other IT devices. Top 2 required skills are the ability to follow documentation and directions without difficulty and good customer facing skills.

Hardware repair hands-on (printers, PCs, POS, etc.) break-fix, use of power tools (e.g. drills) and familiar with the ticketing system. Fast-paced environment, need problem-solving skills and be able to maintain composure under pressure.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. However, work may occasionally follow the project schedule, which could include overtime or after-hours as needed.

On call: Yes, after completing all required certs and training.

Years of experience: Preferred 2-5 but we will train.

Certifications or education: A+ certification is good to have but not necessary, Lexmark certifications and experience are preferred but not necessary. Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs a plus, client Dell Lenovo also desired but not necessary.

Kennewick, WA 99336 for central base. Travel to the most sites is within 1 hour from Kennewick. Requires travel and hotel stays for week-long projects in Yakima, Richland, Spokane, College Place, & Clarkston.
