Position Summary:
KIC Construction is looking to hire an Operator for heavy and other specialized equipment for various construction jobs and snow removal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fuel and upkeep during the day-day operational use of equipment used.
- Inspect equipment daily to assure it is in proper condition to operate. Inspections include checking fluid levels, brakes, tires pressure/track tension, leaks, and hydraulic systems.
- Report truck conditions to KIC shop.
- Complete all work orders and tasks assigned in a timely manner.
- Comply with all company policies and applicable federal, state and local laws and safety standards.
- Must have An Uncompromising Commitment to Safety!
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- An Alaskan CDL is required with a clean driving record.
- Unexpired DOT Physical Card preferred.
- Must pass a Drug Test and background checks.
- Prior experience with safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and observance of traffic laws and regulations as well as OSHA Standards.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less.
