About the Role:
The Continuing Education & Compliance Coordinator has the critical task of supporting the IECRM Training Department by providing the necessary planning, scheduling, support and implementation of all IECRM Continuing Education (CEU) and Career College (CC) Courses - both In-Class and Online. This role will collaborate with the IECRM Training Director on new models for the delivery of continuing education classes. In addition, this role will manage reciprocal state compliance and documentation and will be a knowledge base and resource on electrical licensure requirements and regulations with all applicable regulating entities, in tandem with the IECRM Compliance Manager.

This role will oversee and be proficient in managing audio, video and technology needs for instruction and coordinate room set-up and access to IECRM facilities for classes that are scheduled for off hours. This position will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining a process for the purchase of instructional materials for courses, and specific supplies required for Continuing Education and Career College classes.

This role will support the Education & Workforce Development Coordinator on outreach for the organization?s workforce development strategies including but not limited to career and job fairs, and industry specific outreach events. This role will collaborate on IECRM grant development opportunities and will provide support as applicable in planning, implementation and compliance requirements for reporting.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all of IECRM?s CEUs, Career College Classes and Instructor documentation is current and maintained within the guidelines of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE), and in other reciprocating states

• Ensure compliance with other reciprocating states on electrical license requirements and, in coordination with the Compliance Manager, understand the requirements for apprenticeship in state and federal registered apprenticeship programs focused across states where IECRM members are engaged in work to ensure alignment

• In conjunction with the Training Director, implement new models for the structure and delivery of continuing education classes while maintaining current classes being offered to remain competitive in the marketplace

• Manage the timely scheduling and outreach of CEU classes, as well as communication to instructors, students, contractor members and colleagues.

• Communicate and serve as the liaison with Contractor Members and Industry Partners on IECRM Continuing Education initiatives

• Maintain all Career College and CEU classroom needs including A/V requirements in order to provide for an environment conducive to learning

• Distribute the necessary support materials needed by the Career College or CEU Instructor

• Collect and maintain instructor evaluations, rosters, certificates and sign-In sheets

• Establish, oversee and manage the registration process for CEU and Career College courses and fully execute the timely completion and distribution of certificates for applicable courses.

• Collaborate with the IECRM Training Manager to facilitate and maintain the scheduling of CEU and Career College classes on the IECRM Academic Calendar

• Assist the Education & Workforce Development Coordinator with the implementation and execution of outreach programs and awareness campaigns for high schools and Workforce Development programs

• Collaborate, communicate with and support the Education & Workforce Development Coordinator on plans, schedules and attendance and coverage of career and job fairs, and industry specific outreach events

• Implement and support specific strategic priorities of the association, focused specifically on Workforce Development, Apprenticeship & Professional Development strategies

• Cooperatively and productively communicate with all IECRM staff to ensure that all CEU, Career College, licensure and reciprocity related duties, tasks, and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner including scheduling, course logistics and materials, marketing and promotion

• Maintain IECRM book inventory through scheduled supply counts

• Collaborate with CFO on book ordering and supply management

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on messaging, communication, and promotion of CEU and Career College courses

• Coordinate with the Training Department in all aspects of classroom and remote training needs

• Assist the Compliance Manager, Training Manager, and apprenticeship team with student documentation, student inquiries, and data entry as needed

• Assist in all IECRM events whenever possible, including set-up, execution, and tear-down

Skills and Qualifications

• Attention to detail and maintaining high-quality standards is a must

• Highly organized and thrives on organizational systems and processes to maintain accuracy

• Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated

• Excellent service-driven, customer-focused skills

• Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress, dynamic environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products

• Experience with database technologies

• Comfortable job-shifting and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments

• Previous experience with, or an ability to learn to use common office equipment, such as modern phone systems, printers, and copy machines

• Experience in construction trades highly recommended

• Residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical knowledge preferred

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and able to perform physical tasks required to set-up for meetings, expos, and events

Position reports to: Training Manager

Salary Range: $50,000-65,000 a year

Posting Timeline: Until 10/15/26 or until filled, may extend timeline as needed

This is a full-time role. Typical hours are 9:00 a.m. ? 5:00 p.m. Monday ? Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours to support training or member events.
