Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential in a fast-paced clinical environment, alongside maintaining a high standard of patient care./ppWe are looking for a Veterinary Technician who is confident with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia, with at least one year of experience in a busy hospital focused on nursing care. We genuinely love what we do and the people we work with!/ppRequirements:/pulliAt least 1 year or more of experience in a busy hospital, focusing on nursing care./liliAssociates degree in Veterinary Technology is a plus./liliCVT license is a plus./liliKnowledge with anesthesia and monitoring./liliPhlebotomy/liliKnowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests./liliKnowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment./liliKnowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials./liliKnowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to make preparations and provide tableside assistance./liliKnowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction./liliKnowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar./liliAbility to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments./liliMust be 18 years or older to apply./li/ul/div
