Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,122–$2,203 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 10/19/2026 Weekend coverage required Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care for adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients on a ~20-bed unit, with a typical 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio across days, nights, and weekends Administer medications and IV therapy, manage PICC/central line care and blood draws, plus blood product administration and insulin/heparin administration Perform wound care (including Wound VAC), ostomy care, feeding tube care, and maintain infection precautions; monitor and document patient status per policy Monitor vitals and changes in condition; communicate with the care team; participate in care planning, discharge planning, and patient education May float to other units within scope of practice as needed; adhere to unit policies and safety protocols Requirements Active New York RN license required at submission; submit Nursys verification and current certifications prior to start Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience; prior travel experience; professional references required SSN and DOB required for compliance EKG exam via Relias within 72 hours of signing; initial pass ≥85% with rhythm identification; retest allowed per policy Healthstream modules must be completed by 7 a.m. on the Wednesday prior to start (exceptions noted in policy) Weekend coverage required; must be willing to float within skillset as directed by the manager Local residency restrictions: primary residence within 50 miles of the DL address not accepted; county exclusions include Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster COVID-19 vaccine not required Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment management and support throughout the contract Onboarding and credentialing assistance Compliance guidance and documentation support Clear start-date coordination and ongoing clinical support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
