Network Adjusters is seeking experienced Claims Adjusters to handle Bodily Injury and Property Damage losses at our offices located in Denver, CO and Farmingdale, NY. This role supports the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of moderate to complex commercial bodily injury claims while delivering consistent, high-quality claims management in alignment with industry best practices.The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.This position offers the opportunity to work within a trusted organization committed to integrity, reliability, and professional development through ongoing training and growth opportunities.About the RoleBodily Injury and/or Property Claims Adjusters are responsible for managing commercial bodily injury and/or property damage claims from inception through closure. Claims may include commercial auto and general liability exposures of varying complexity and severity. In this role, you will investigate losses, analyze policy language, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and handle litigated matters while maintaining clear, professional communication with all involved parties.Adjusters routinely take statements, review medical records and police reports, collaborate with legal counsel when necessary, and ensure all claim activity complies with state-specific regulations and Network Adjusters' Best Claims Practices. This is a desk-based role.ResponsibilitiesHandle Commercial Auto and General Liability bodily injury and/or property damage claims of varying complexity and severityInvestigate, evaluate, negotiate, and manage claims in compliance with state regulations and Network Adjusters' Best Claims PracticesProvide exceptional customer service to insureds, claimants, carrier clients, and internal stakeholders, using empathy and conflict-resolution skillsConduct interviews and gather evidence from claimants, witnesses, medical providers, and law enforcement agenciesAnalyze insurance contracts and policy language to determine coverage applicabilityReview medical records, police reports, and related documentation to evaluate injuries and liabilityEstablish, monitor, and adjust reserves throughout the life of the claimDetermine settlement values using independent judgment, applicable limits, and deductibles, collaborating with legal counsel when appropriateHandle litigated matters and negotiate settlements within assigned authorityMaintain accurate claim files, diaries, and documentationCommunicate claim decisions and key developments to policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other involved partiesQualificationsMinimum 1 year of bodily injury and/or property claims handling experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and standard business softwareDemonstrated customer service skills with empathy and professionalismStrong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skillsExcellent negotiation and conflict-management abilitiesStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to maintain confidentialityCollege or technical degree, or equivalent business experience preferredAbility to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses, including continuing educationBilingual proficiency preferred but not requiredCompensation & BenefitsSalary: Starting from $70,000+ annually (based on licensure, certifications, and experience)Training, development, and career growth opportunities401(k) with company match and retirement planningPaid time off and company-paid holidaysComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Company-paid life insurance and long-term disabilitySupplemental life insurance and optional short-term disabilityStrong work/family and employee assistance programsEmployee referral programLocationDenver, CO and Farmingdale, NYRemote opportunities may be available for experienced candidates who meet all required criteria.About Network AdjustersFounded in 1958, Network Adjusters has built a reputation as a leading provider of insurance claims administration and independent adjusting services.
