Account Manager (Open) Location: Moss Point, MS (ASP) – Ammonia production & filling Job Description Airgas is hiring an Account Manager in Moss Point, MS to lead our Mid South territory. This role is for a strategic, high‑motor professional who wants to own a region and deliver value far beyond a commodity price point. Responsibilities Value‑Based Growth – Aggressively expand our footprint by converting competitive accounts, showcasing our total value proposition focusing on safety record and technical superiority. Strategic Relationship Management – Lead advocacy for customers, understanding their KPIs and buying motives to ensure long‑term retention and margin health. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with Customer Service Representatives for order processing and logistics, and Engineering and Field Service teams for technical support and on‑site expertise. Internal Networking – Build and maintain strong internal relationships across departments; proactive communication and remote collaboration. Territory Planning – Generate detailed business plans and SWOT analyses, maintain a 3‑year strategic vision for the Gulf Coast. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years B2B sales, technical/industrial selling & value‑based selling experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.); technical disciplines are a plus. Experience with complex contracts and index/formula‑based pricing is preferred. Willingness to travel up to 50% (car and some air). Ability to work remotely from home.
