Job Opportunity: Licensed Audiologist
Are you a qualified Audiologist eager to embrace a role focused on assessments? Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Veterans will submit their claims prior to their appointments, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the consultation.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, which serves as essential medical evidence for the VA's decision-making regarding benefits.
- Assess and review an average of 3-6 Veterans daily.
Please note that this role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
Work Schedule- Available as either Part-Time or Full-Time.
- This is an IN-PERSON position, providing 1 to 1.5 hours per patient.
- No evening shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales involved.
- Possess an Au.D. from an ASHA Accredited institution.
- Hold a valid Audiologist license.
- Meet the credentialing standards established by the VA.
- Malpractice insurance provided by our organization.
- Health insurance options available.
- Membership for ASHA Learning Pass (CEU).
