Testing Center Assistant

Testing Center Assistant Part‑time position, 19 hours or less per week, hourly salary $18.00. Responsibilities Schedules and administers standardized tests, including the TSI Assessment, NEX Admissions Exam, CLEP, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement examinations, Prometric's Automobile Service Excellence examinations, ACT, HiSET, Pearson Vue examinations, and GED. Maintains test security while facilitating the needs of students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Assists with maintaining records, collecting proctor fees, and securely storing test materials under the direction of the Director of Testing, Tutoring and Accessibility Services. Administers Grayson College proctored online courses exams and make‑up exams as arranged by faculty. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with approved Grayson College accommodations as arranged by faculty and the Tutoring and Accessibility Services Coordinator. Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to higher education. Qualifications Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience. Education: Associates degree required. Interpersonal Skills: Contact with persons beyond immediate associates, providing routine assistance and information. Other Skills: Strong customer service skills, strong organizational skills. Physical Requirements: Sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items.
