How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Support patients and their loved ones by providing compassionate spiritual counsel that respects diverse cultural backgrounds and personal beliefs during times of emotional distress.

• Assess the spiritual needs of our community—including staff and families—and document these care journeys to ensure a holistic approach to healing and well-being.

• Guide families and medical teams through complex ethical decisions, offering a values-based perspective that brings clarity and peace to difficult healthcare choices.

• Lead the development and delivery of spiritual programs, prayers, and blessings that weave a sense of sacredness and community support into the daily life of the local ministry.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Behavior or a related field preferred.

• 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE required.

• 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE preferred.

Work Experience:

• 2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
