Resident Assistant

Position Type: Irregular Part-Time (039 hours per pay period)
Schedules available: Day Shift (6:30 a.m.3:00 p.m.), every other Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Night Shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.), every other weekend and holiday rotation
Overview: This position provides resident care in the assisted living settings of La Crosse County's Long-Term Care Campuses, with a strong focus on person-centered care and a home-like environment. Team members are selected by and work under the supervision of the Assisted Living Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compassionate Communication: Interact with residents, families, and team members with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
- Good Judgment and Awareness: Observe residents for needs or changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
- Dependable Team Player: Demonstrate reliable attendance, a willingness to learn, and strong collaboration with supervisors and clinical staff.
- Medication and Clinical Support: Safely administer medications following the Five Rights and perform basic clinical tasks within allowed scope.
- Personal Care Assistance: Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, meals, and transfers.
- Documentation and Safety: Accurately document care, comply with assisted living regulations, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Location: The Evergreens at Hillview is an exciting new Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) opening this winter on the Hillview Health Care Campus. As we prepare to welcome residents, we are seeking compassionate team members committed to delivering exceptional, resident-focused care.
