EY's Life Sciences Consulting Services team assists clients in finding the right balance between protecting the business and driving measurable value. The opportunity EY has a robust life sciences commercial practice, helping clients with strategic growth, business transformation, and commercial excellence. This senior role within our Consulting practice will have the opportunity to lead large engagements, build solutions, lead teams, and innovate in the market. Our practice works with large pharma, biotechnology, medical device manufacturers, and medical technology industries. You will be an integral member of our life sciences consulting team and spend most of your time focused on providing client services in the following areas: business transformation, commercial operations, commercial data and analytics, commercial strategy, market access, growth strategy, operating model optimization, technology implementation, and enterprise transformation.

Your key responsibilities

• Support client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.
• Lead key workstreams as part of large-scale client engagements and consistently deliver high quality deliverables.
• Help manager and senior managers manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counseling and mentoring staff consultants within the organization.
• Develop long-term client relationships and networks.
• Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
• Stay current on new developments in the life sciences advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

To qualify for the role you must have Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology 3+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience and experience providing advisory services in these industries, focused in at least one of the following areas: commercial analytics, brand strategy, pricing and market access, commercial operations model transformation, digital campaign management strategy. Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.) Experience with commercial operations and analytics Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint A willingness to travel to meet client needs Advisory/consulting experience within life sciences is preferred Ideally, you'll also have life science or biomedical background and experience in data analytics and commercial operations.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $93,600 to $154,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $112,400 to $175,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
