The Opportunity

Emergency Physicians is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Emergency Medicine trained physician to join our premier, democratic group. This role offers an exceptional balance of clinical variety, allowing you to staff two distinct facilities located just 20 miles apart:

• Mercy Hospital Joplin: A high-volume, fast-paced Level 2 Trauma Center.

• Mercy Hospital Carthage: A critical access hospital serving a vital community role.

Compensation & Classification

We offer highly competitive, transparent tier-based compensation:

• W2 Employee Structure:

  • Day Shifts: $240 / hour

  • Night Shifts: $270 / hour

  • Note: Our benefits package adds an estimated $35 to $40 per hour in total value.

• 1099 Independent Contractor: Higher, premium hourly rates are fully negotiable if you prefer an independent structure.

Qualifications

• Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) in Emergency Medicine.

• Must have completed an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency program.

• Ability to adapt seamlessly between trauma center pacing and critical access environments.
