Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking a Telemetry Certified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering chemotherapies and managing complex patient care scenarios. Shift Details
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- Start Date: 9/21 or 10/5
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Maximum RTO: 5 days
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in telemetry.
- Experience in Trauma Level I and II settings is required.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Chemo certification from ONS/ONCC preferred.
- Additional skills in patient management related to cardiac interventional procedures and chemotherapy infusions are preferred.
- Staffing Ratio: Up to 5 patients per nurse.
- Daily Census: Approximately 31 patients.
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics.
- Special Procedures: Involvement in procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, and complex PCI Angiogram.
- Equipment: Golvo lifts, code carts, and Voalte phones for communication.
- Access and management of ports.
- Administration of chemotherapy and managing side effects.
- Experience with IV hydration and central line care.
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
