HR Coordinator

HR Coordinator LHH Recruitment is partnering with a transportation company in Glendale who is seeking seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing administrative processes, processing payroll, and partnering with operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior human resources experience and a strong administrative background. Experience processing payroll in ADP is highly preferred. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-230pm and is fully onsite. Salary range is $50,00-$60,000. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations for a multi-site transportation workforce Process weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using ADP Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and employee file maintenance Process employee status changes, terminations, and other HR documentation Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment activities, and employee questions Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and assisting hiring managers Assist with workers' compensation, leave administration, and employee relations matters Track and maintain HR metrics, reports, and confidential personnel information Partner with operations leadership to support employee engagement and retention initiatives Provide general administrative support to the HR department Qualifications 2+ years of Human Resources, HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or related experience Strong knowledge of onboarding, employee records management, and HR administration Experience supporting recruiting and hiring processes Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook ADP payroll processing experience is highly preferred Experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operational environments is a plus Interested?
