Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required: Previous Cath Lab experience, Strong Cardiac Proficiency, Holding Experience - Pre and Post Care, STEMI Experience License: State License in Michigan Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous Cath Lab experience Strong Cardiac Proficiency Holding Experience - Pre and Post Care STEMI Experience Description: Our nurses have experience with a variety of procedures. They are skilled in heart catheterizations. They perform coronary and peripheral angioplasties and stent placements. They are trained in lytics and embolizations. They manage Impella patients and assist with structural heart procedures. They conduct ASD and VSD repairs, TEEs, and cardioversion procedures. They perform tilt table testing and manage pacemakers and ICDs. They are involved in electrophysiology studies and complex ablations, especially for atrial fibrillation. They also perform thoracenteses, paracenteses, and tunneled catheter placements.
